You Can’t Satisfy Everyone

1-min read

Ever feel like you’re the unofficial satisfaction director of everyone’s lives? The good news is: that’s not your job. No matter what you say, do, or don’t do, someone will always have an opinion. And that’s okay.

Here’s the thing—when you chase universal approval, you’ll end up exhausted, frustrated, and unsatisfied.

When criticism rolls in, take a pause. Ask yourself: Is this useful? If yes, put it to work. If not, let it float away like a dandelion in the wind. And remember, the loudest voice in your head? Make sure it’s your own.

At the end of the day, the only person you need to satisfy is you. So, cut yourself some slack, and keep marching to the beat of your own drum. Everyone else can go fly a kite.
