It’s natural—we all crave approval and acceptance. However, when the need for validation dictates our lives, we surrender our happiness and peace. Why do we care so much about what others think? From a young age, we’re taught the importance of fitting in. Whether it’s in school, at work, or in social circles, this behavior is rooted in our primal need for acceptance. Our ancestors relied on the group for survival; being ostracized could mean life or death. While we no longer face such extremes, the underlying fear of rejection still influences us today.
